Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Ozie platform (the "Service"), including our mobile application and website at ozie.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Ozie is a construction management platform that provides project tracking, crew coordination, invoicing, marketplace, and communication tools for contractors, tradespeople, crew members, and homeowners.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. Each person may only maintain one account.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
• Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data
• Create multiple accounts or use fake identities

5. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you upload (photos, documents, invoices, etc.). By uploading content, you grant Ozie a non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, display, and process that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

6. Marketplace

Ozie provides a marketplace for users to buy and sell tools and materials. Ozie is not a party to any transaction between buyers and sellers. Users are solely responsible for the accuracy of listings and the completion of transactions.

7. Invoicing & Payments

Ozie provides tools to create and share invoices and quotes. Ozie does not process payments between contractors and clients. All payment terms are between the contracting parties. Ozie is not responsible for non-payment or payment disputes.

8. Crew & Company Features

Company administrators are responsible for managing their crew members, permissions, and company data. Invite codes are confidential and should only be shared with intended recipients. Ozie tracks device and IP information for fraud prevention.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon deletion, your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, data accuracy, or that the Service will meet your specific requirements. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ozie shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes through the app or email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.
